Mussel control

INWATEC has developed an effective chemical treatment process to prevent mussel growth in pipelines. Catalysed hydrogen peroxide is used to continuously or discontinuously kill mussel larvae, combat biofilms in the pipe network and prevent mussels from attaching and multiplying. The concept is extremely environmentally friendly and is adapted to local requirements in close cooperation with the competent authority.

Crack prevention in aluminium casting

INWATEC has developed a chemical process which helps to achieve uniform irrigation water quality. This process homogeneously disperses the irrigation water ingredients, especially the mould oil. The lowering speed of the ingot in the mould and the amount of cooling water can now be adjusted to irrigation water, which cools the ingot surface more evenly. This can drastically reduce the rate of cracked ingots.
